Privacy Policy for Synova

1. Introduction

At Synova Immigration, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you interact with our online content, including consultations and seminar registrations.

2. Information We Collect

When you engage with our digital content, we may collect:
  • Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, and details provided through consultation requests or seminar registrations.
  • Technical Data: Device type, browser, and general location data to enhance user experience.
  • Engagement Data: Interactions with our website, ads, and online forms.
  • Appointment & Booking Data: Preferred dates and times, selected services, and technical information needed to provide online booking and calendar integration.

3. How We Use Your Information

We collect and use your data to:
  • Provide consultation services and register you for seminars.
  • Share relevant immigration and business service updates.
  • Improve our communication and optimize user experience.
  • Ensure the security and authenticity of interactions.

3.1 Online Booking & Calendar Integration

We provide an online booking system, including at cal.synovaimmigration.com, to allow clients to schedule consultations and manage appointments. When you use the booking system, we may collect and process information such as your name, email address, phone number, time zone, and appointment details.

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, our system uses the Google Calendar API to access your calendar for the limited purpose of:

  • Checking your availability; and
  • Creating, updating, or cancelling events related to your bookings with Synova Immigration.

We do not use this access to view or store the content of unrelated calendar events. Access to your Google Calendar can be revoked at any time from your Google account’s security settings.

The booking system is self-hosted and operated by Synova Immigration on servers provided by our infrastructure and hosting providers, who process data only on our instructions.

We request the Google OAuth scopes calendar.readonly and calendar.events.

  • calendar.readonly is used solely to check your availability and prevent double-booking, reading only minimal event data.

  • calendar.events is used only when you confirm a booking, to create or modify the corresponding event in your Google Calendar.
We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google Calendar data to third parties. We retain it only until the booking is completed, then delete or anonymize it. You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account.

4. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Your information is stored securely and is only accessed by authorized personnel for the intended purposes. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except when required for service delivery or legal compliance.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:
  • Access, update, or request deletion of your personal data.
  • Unsubscribe from communications at any time.
  • Request details about how your information is used.

6. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access or misuse.
